About me? I started playing the drums when I was 4 years old, I came in the house one day and there was a mutt set made up of Slingerland and Ludwig pieces and a cymbal sitting there on the floor. The year was 1960 and the drums were VERY OLD. I could read music before I entered the 1st grade and took drum lessons for the next 14 years. I was so good at playing the drums as a kid that I started gigging when I was 12 years old. My mom would open up the station wagon and drive me to different clubs and bars where I met the bands I was in at the time and played sets from 9 pm till 1:30 am. I usually got a ride home from someone in the band after the gig was over. I played in all types of bands, rock, oldies, greaser, and country western. Later in life I realized that there was more to just providing a good beat, I realized that I could work with a variety of artists and choreograph their music and provide a heartbeat to their ideas that were unique to what they were trying to portray. This led to much studio work and more experience. I'm over 50 now and still enjoy drumming as much as I did when I was a little boy. But that's enough about me.
